Sandy Dow’s Site Gets a ReFresh!
Sandy Dow came to us a few weeks ago with questions about how to freshen up her site. Her website had served her well but no longer reflected her brand or style.
Pebble Road Marketing spent just a few hours and added in her new colour scheme, cleaned up some of the formatting, and made the body (the part with the text) wider and easier to read.
The results? Take a look for yourself:

ActiveCo Gets a New Website!
ActiveCo Computer Solutions was looking for an updated web presence. They wanted to edit their site more often, support a blog, and have a great landing pad for their social media networking.
They now have:
- A sleek front page slider
- An easy location for visitors to sign up for their great monthly newsletter
- Social proof that their customers like them (testimonials)
- A fantastic new recruitment area, “Career Centre”
Thanks to Christine at Bluelime Media for her coding expertise!

So You Know Your Target. Now What?
Urban Gate’s Website
Wow! This has been the month of websites here at Pebble Road Marketing.
Urban Gate is a great Coquitlam destination for anyone looking for the daily shopping necessities or specialty Persian items. Do you love hand-made pastries and sweets? Urban Gate has them — they’re made fresh daily.
But there’s even more…the Urban Gate Bar & Grill is a swank restaurant — you might think you’re really downtown for a few hours! The menu offers a wide variety of Canadian and Persian food — all delicious, all freshly prepared. Pop by on UFC fight or Canuck hockey nights to watch the match on the big screens.
Want to stay in? Check out the take out menu on the site. Give them a call and have dinner prepared for you.
W Squared Photography + Design’s Blogsite
A few weeks ago, we launched the Daydream Weddings new blogsite. Well, today it’s W Squared Photography + Design‘s turn!
Take a look and let me know what you think. This one is built using the same Pro-Photo WordPress theme template as Daydream Weddings.
W Squared takes fantastic images of everything — from babies to professional marketers (ah hem — Amy took my new photos. You like?).

Quilter’s Connection’s New Website
Quilter’s Connection is Canada’s only magazine for quilters. I’ve had the pleasure of working with them for a while now and it’s been very exciting to see them grow and develop.
Well, it had come time for them to switch over to a WordPress platform. Heather McArthur, the publisher, wanted to change her page content on the fly, keeping the events up to date and switch elements of the site with each magazine edition. The old blog used WordPress and so it was a familiar technology.
Well, we’ve just launched the new site. Heather is getting great feedback — I couldn’t be happier.
Daydream Weddings Blogsite
I’ve always loved looking through blogs, appreciating the writing, the photos, the personality of the author. It’s only been in the last few months — since I’ve begun designing simple WordPress sites — that I’ve really appreciated the work, sweat, and — yes, sometimes — tears of the website designer.
For the Daydream Weddings blog, Amy Williams found a pre-written template by Pro-Photo for photographers. Yes, all the features commonly loved by photographers like slideshows, videos, bio pages, and great contact pages are all in the theme. All right!
I’ve just completed customizing the Daydream Weddings blog and it’s live for all to enjoy. Daydream Weddings takes gorgeous, creative engagement and wedding photos. They also offer amazing custom stationary for the truly chic, hip bride.
The sister company, W Squared Photography + Design, has a soon-to-be-released blog too. Stay tuned!

BerniceBailey.com Gets a Facelift
Bernice Bailey (aka “Mom”) was looking for a simple website where she could update her own pages and maybe even start a blog. So, when it was time to move bernicebailey.com to a new host server, we took the opportunity to design a simple site on a WordPress management system.
Take a look and let us know what you think!
