Give It a Try!
Quite often entrepreneurs, small business owners, and non-profit leaders need to take on the role of “marketer” with very little background or training. I’m offering a new blog series, “Give It a Try!“, which gives easy-to-understand marketing information with real-world examples. Check back often for new posts.
Book Reviews
As an insatiable reader, I often come across valuable, interesting business and marketing books that may be helpful to you. I’ve vetted the books and offer my opinions on which are worthy of your precious time and which can stay on the shelf. Read my book reviews.
Technology I Love
Freshbooks
Are you looking for an easy way to invoice out each month? Freshbooks allows you to write quotes, invoices, track expenses against a project (and bill them out), and track/budget your time. Interested? Take a look. I’ve been using it for a few years now. It’s very dependable and is constantly improved.
MailChimp
I’ve had quite a few compliments about the look of my newsletters. I use MailChimp. Once your template is set up, it’s super easy to use and looks very slick. It also offers a free option and works seemlessly with social media programs, such as Twitter and Facebook. Interested? Take a look.
DropBox
Tired of carrying around your files on a flash drive or a CD? Having trouble moving work from laptop to desktop and back again? Dropbox is here to help! It’s an online file depository and I’ve seen computer users of every level use it with great efficiency. Interested? Take a look.
